      Chase Randall

      Manufacturing Floor Team Leader

As team leader of EDCO Fabrication’s manufacturing floor, Chase is responsible for the workflow between each department that spans the entire production process. Chase brings prior experience from Equipment Development Company’s product manufacturing division, where he worked in shipping and operated the laser and press brake in the fabrication department.

Chase is a staunch supporter of Oklahoma Sooner football, and follows the team throughout the fall and all of the offseason happenings and recruiting news. He also enjoys fishing with his wife and spending time with his dog.

Biggest work challenge: Balancing projects with short lead times with the long-term production schedule.

Success story in his role: Facilitating large, complicated orders from newer customers on time by cross-training employees to work effectively in different departments as needed.

      Josh Knable

      Contract Fabrication Sales Representative

Josh is responsible for providing quotes and maintaining EDCO Fabrication’s high customer service standards. Josh was hired in 2013 to launch the concept of selling contract fabrication and has been instrumental in EDCO Fabrication’s growth since it began in earnest in 2014..

He enjoys playing golf, watching sports and cooking meat in his smoker. He’s a fan of the currently lowly Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles, but he’s enjoyed the success of his other favorite sports team: the Washington Capitals and Penn State football.

Biggest work challenge: Keeping up with technology in order to meet customer demands.

Success story in his role: Finishing projects on time and facilitating them to customers to meet installation dates.

      Tony Baile

      General Manager

As general manager, Tony oversees day-to-day operations, coaches the staff and is involved with hands-on sales. Before joining EDCO Fabrication in 2018, Tony has 38 years’ experience in job shop manufacturing, where he worked as a Tool & Die Maker, Plant Manager and Sales Manager. 30 of the years was with one company.

Tony is an outdoorsman by nature and mows six lawns a week for fun. He also enjoys cutting wood, plowing snow, biking and hiking, and is a Baltimore Ravens fan.

Biggest work challenge: Ensuring short lead times are met for customers and keeping everyone happy.

Success story in his role: Recently had a month where EDCO Fabrication turned around many projects, consistently met lead times and brought on new business.

      J.J. Padilla

      Machine Shop Team Member

J.J. was once a kitchen manager in California and also worked at Bakery de France. But he’s since traded in his cooking apron to become a versatile member of our EDCO Fabrication staff. He floats around different machines in the machine shop, where he’s equipped with the recipe for success in operating the press brake, saws and tapping machines.

Outside of work, J.J. enjoys fishing, building robot models and has a passion for photographing landscapes, nature and people.

Success story in his role: The communication in the building is “spot on,” and the managers are always there to help the staff succeed as a team.

      Aaron Lidie

      Machine Shop Team Member

Aaron is an experienced member of the EDCO team. He worked at EDCO’s manufacturing division before moving with EDCO Fabrication when it moved to a separate building. Aaron helps carry out all Machine Shop processes, including: tapping, sawing, milling and operating the press brake. He’s also a certified MIG and TIG welder.

In his spare time, Aaron likes motorsports, working on fabrication and machining projects and anything that’s related to fixing trucks or cars. His brother races, and Aaron helps prepare the bike and works on any mechanical issues.

Success story in his role: Aaron helps facilitate high-volume projects on time by creating fixtures to make the process more efficient. He also uses his wealth of experience and knowledge to help teach others how to operate the equipment in the machine shop.

Success story in his role: Making needed materials always available for our manufacturing team so they can do their job.

      Sam Smith

      Welder

Born in Liberia, George came to the United States around ten years old. A proud family man, George enjoys cookouts with his loved ones. When he can, George watches basketball, rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Biggest Work Challenge: Making sure that every piece he works on is up to the standards of his supervisor and EDCO’s customers.

Success story in his role: Learning to powder coat with consistent quality. Knowing that he worked to the best of his abilities and prevented errors before they could reach his downstream customers.

      John Ditch

      Delivery

Often the face of EDCO to its customers, John Ditch is our delivery driver. Navigating traffic and safely ferrying orders to customers is John’s main duty. When not on the road, John packs orders, helps in the powder department, and assembles parts when necessary.

Away from EDCO, John is a true handyman. He enjoys working on home projects and passing on his knowledge to others. When not working on a project, John loves spending time with this family.

Biggest work challenge: Scheduling the day’s deliveries in an order that is most efficient is a tough job. Also, traffic on the highway makes every day a challenge when you are driving a big truck.

Success story in his role: John takes pride in having shipments on time and organized for EDCO’s customers. If he can make their days easier, he considers his day a success.
