Josh is responsible for providing quotes and maintaining EDCO Fabrication’s high customer service standards. Josh was hired in 2013 to launch the concept of selling contract fabrication and has been instrumental in EDCO Fabrication’s growth since it began in earnest in 2014..
He enjoys playing golf, watching sports and cooking meat in his smoker. He’s a fan of the currently lowly Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles, but he’s enjoyed the success of his other favorite sports team: the Washington Capitals and Penn State football.
Biggest work challenge: Keeping up with technology in order to meet customer demands.
Success story in his role: Finishing projects on time and facilitating them to customers to meet installation dates.
As general manager, Tony oversees day-to-day operations, coaches the staff and is involved with hands-on sales. Before joining EDCO Fabrication in 2018, Tony has 38 years’ experience in job shop manufacturing, where he worked as a Tool & Die Maker, Plant Manager and Sales Manager. 30 of the years was with one company.
Tony is an outdoorsman by nature and mows six lawns a week for fun. He also enjoys cutting wood, plowing snow, biking and hiking, and is a Baltimore Ravens fan.
Biggest work challenge: Ensuring short lead times are met for customers and keeping everyone happy.
Success story in his role: Recently had a month where EDCO Fabrication turned around many projects, consistently met lead times and brought on new business.
J.J. was once a kitchen manager in California and also worked at Bakery de France. But he’s since traded in his cooking apron to become a versatile member of our EDCO Fabrication staff. He floats around different machines in the machine shop, where he’s equipped with the recipe for success in operating the press brake, saws and tapping machines.
Outside of work, J.J. enjoys fishing, building robot models and has a passion for photographing landscapes, nature and people.
Success story in his role: The communication in the building is “spot on,” and the managers are always there to help the staff succeed as a team.
Aaron is an experienced member of the EDCO team. He worked at EDCO’s manufacturing division before moving with EDCO Fabrication when it moved to a separate building. Aaron helps carry out all Machine Shop processes, including: tapping, sawing, milling and operating the press brake. He’s also a certified MIG and TIG welder.
In his spare time, Aaron likes motorsports, working on fabrication and machining projects and anything that’s related to fixing trucks or cars. His brother races, and Aaron helps prepare the bike and works on any mechanical issues.
Success story in his role: Aaron helps facilitate high-volume projects on time by creating fixtures to make the process more efficient. He also uses his wealth of experience and knowledge to help teach others how to operate the equipment in the machine shop.
Doug has become EDCO’s primary powder coating technician. In addition to masking and powdering customer parts, Doug is responsible for maintaining EDCO’s wash system. By monitoring the storage of powder and the levels of wash chemicals, Doug ensures that EDCO’s customers receive a quality, long lasting finish on all their parts.
Outside of work, Doug splits his time between gaming and his personal fitness pursuits. Biggest work challenge: Making sure that each part that leaves EDCO is up to the finish standards of our customers.
Success story in his role: Doug joined EDCO as a general team member and with some good coaching has become a talented and reliable powder coater.
